Cartoon seems to link Obama to dead chimp - Politics- msnbc.com

This is sooooo retarded. Yeah, Obama being compared to a chimp is racist. I can hardly remember two months ago and the previous 8 years when EVERYONE compared President Bush to a monkey.

It's like... if someone said "All politicians are like monkeys." People would only be concerned about one person being called a monkey, even though it wasn't even directed at anyone.

Like what you said about Bush being called a monkey, no one said anything then. It's because we're still not past that color barrier. We may think we are...but we're not.

And with people/news bringing stuff like this up so much (the 24hr news cycle) it will be hard to move past most things...
